Privacy Policy

This policy explains how PMPEC Solutions (Pty) Ltd handles personal information collected through this website. It is written to reflect the requirements of the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA).

Who is responsible

PMPEC Solutions (Pty) Ltd is the responsible party for the personal information described here. Questions, requests and complaints can be sent to Remano Theron at pmpec.solution@gmail.com or 060 421 1412.

What we collect

When you submit the quote request form we collect the information you enter: your name, company name (optional), email address, phone number, the category you selected, any quantity or scale you give, and the description of your requirement.

We also process a limited technical record at the moment of submission — an approximate network address derived from request headers — solely to rate-limit the form against automated abuse. It is held in memory only, is not stored alongside your enquiry, and is not used to identify you.

If you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics collects usage information about your visit. See “Cookies and analytics” below.

Why we use it

Information submitted through the form is used to respond to your enquiry, prepare a quotation, and where relevant supply the equipment or service you asked about. We do not use it for marketing lists, and we do not sell or rent it to anyone.

Who we share it with

Where preparing your quotation requires us to check availability or pricing with a supplier, the details of the requirement are shared with that supplier for that purpose. Your contact details are not shared beyond what is necessary to fulfil the enquiry.

This website relies on service providers who process data on our behalf: the hosting provider that serves the site, the email or delivery service that carries your enquiry to us, and — only if you accept analytics cookies — Google Analytics. Some of these providers operate outside South Africa.

How long we keep it

Enquiries are retained for as long as needed to respond to and, if applicable, fulfil the request, and thereafter for the period required by ordinary business and tax record-keeping obligations. You may ask us to delete your enquiry sooner.

Cookies and analytics

This site sets two kinds of cookie or local storage entry:

• Necessary. A record of your cookie choice, stored in your browser so you are not asked again, and a short-lived cookie set after a successful form submission so the confirmation page can be shown correctly. It expires within two minutes.
• Analytics (optional). Google Analytics, used to understand which pages are useful and how visitors reach the site. These are only loaded after you accept. Declining does not limit any part of the site.
